The International Tournament of Base Football CANADA LAVAL CUP will be played according to the rules of FIFA and the Canadian Football Federation. These regulations refer to Soccer 11, Soccer 9 and Soccer 7 competitions.
Teams will be divided into groups of 4 (or 5) teams that will play against each other in a single round-robin league.
The 1st and 2nd of each group will qualify for the Champions phase. The 3rd and 4th of each group will play the Consolation phase.
1.- Match won: 3 points
2.- Tied game: 1 point

It is allowed for a player registered in the tournament to participate in two teams of the same club, as long as the teams are not in the same category. In addition, the player must be registered in the records of both teams.
In any case, all players must be registered before the start of the tournament in their age category or in higher categories.
In the female categories it will be allowed to register 2 players of 1 year older in F11 and 1 player in F7.
1st Phase (League)
In case of a tie on points in the final classification between two teams, the classification criteria to be followed to resolve the tie will be as follows:

In the event of a tie in the playoffs, 3 penalty kicks per team will be taken.
In case of a tie, penalties will continue to be taken alternately until there is a winner. Any player registered on the score sheet may take the penalties, even if he is a substitute at the end of the match.
During the penalty shootout, the players of each team will occupy the center circle, leaving the coaching staff and substitutes on the bench and out of the field of play.
In the event that a match, once started, should be suspended due to force majeure or for other reasons beyond the control of the organization, it will be considered finished with the result at the time of suspension. In case the match has not been held, it will be played according to the organization’s decision.
11-a-side soccer
A team will have in each match 20 players of the total number of players registered in the tournament, MAXIMUM 25 PLAYERS.
The coaching staff will be composed of a maximum of 3 people, who must also be registered in the minutes. Changes are unlimited. A substituted player may play again. Changes may be made without stopping the game and without consulting the referee, following the following procedure: The player to be substituted must leave the field before his substitute enters and always in the substitutes’ area.
SOCCER 9 AND 7
A team will have in each match 15 players of the total number of players registered in the tournament, MAXIMUM 20 PLAYERS.
The coaching staff will be composed of a maximum of 3 people, who must also be registered in the record. Changes are unlimited. A substituted player may play again. Changes can be made without stopping the game and without consulting the referee, following the following procedure: The player to be substituted must leave the field before his substitute enters the field and always in the substitutes’ area.
15 minutes before each match, the representatives of each team must confirm the players’ numbers to the field delegates.
The field delegate may request a random check of cards of up to 3 players during the match or at the end of it.
All jerseys will be provided with numbers and these must match the match report.
They will be natural grass or artificial or natural grass. We recommend the use of rubber cleats for both fields.
Teams must be ready 15 minutes before the start of the game. If this is not the case and the organization understands that there is no cause to justify the non-appearance, the match will be forfeited to the offending team by a score of 3 – 0.
The breaks of the matches of Football 7, Football 8 and Football 11 will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes. During the breaks the teams will not be allowed to leave the field.
– Cards:
The player who was expelled from the match with a direct red card, will be suspended with one or more matches. Depending on the reason for the expulsion, he may even be disqualified from participating again. The red card sanctions will always begin to be served in the next match, even if it coincides with the beginning of the Play Off.
The player who accumulates two yellow cards during the Championship will be suspended for the next match.
Yellow cards in the qualification phase are cumulative for the final phases.
A third yellow card and successive yellow cards will be punished with one match.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON THE PITCH
Soccer 11 – If a team is left with 8 players, the match will be suspended and the resolution of the match will be pending before the competition committee of the tournament.
Soccer 7 and 9 – If a team is left with 5 players in soccer 7 and 6 players in soccer 9, the match will be suspended and the resolution of the match will be pending before the competition committee of the tournament.
ACCUMULATION OF CARDS
In case of a tie and as a fourth qualifying criterion, the accumulation of cards will have a negative value when qualifying (Fair Play):
One yellow = 1 point.
Double yellow = 3 points.
A straight red card = 6 points.
For the sum of cautions, the organization will be governed by the official minutes of the matches.
BEHAVIOR OF THE TEAMS
If a team demonstrates a violent attitude during the competition (protests against refereeing decisions, confrontation with opponents or with the organization, etc.) it may be automatically expelled from the tournament.
All cases of serious expulsion will be reported to the National Federation of the country of the player concerned.
In the case of a violent attitude by players attached to the Royal Spanish Football Federation or Spanish Territorial Federations, these cases will be reported to them, providing names and surnames of those involved, being these federations and their sanctioning bodies those who could impose disciplinary sanctions.
The delegates of the teams will be responsible for the attitude and behavior of their players towards the referees, teammates, opponents, public, organization and materials of the sports facilities (locker rooms, benches, playing fields,…).
The organization will inspect the locker rooms before and after each game with the delegates of each team to certify that they are used correctly. In case of any damage to the benches, locker rooms or playing field, the delegate, the team and the person who causes such damage or destruction will be responsible for them.
The list of players will be notified on the official website of the tournament. For this purpose, the delegates of the teams will receive some keys and passwords along with an email explaining how to manage this list.
All the matches of the Tournament will be officiated by national and international referees.
The referee will be the highest authority on the field of play, and will have the power to suspend the match in case of any negative attitude in the behavior of a team.
Protests or complaints must be submitted in writing to the person in charge of the field, within 30 minutes after the end of the match in question.
The Organization will not accept protests derived from the referee’s performance.
The committee will meet every day after the matches with the field delegates and will analyze all the incidents of the day.
All decisions of the Competition Committee are final and all participants must respect these decisions without exception.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes in the match program, both in terms of the division of groups, schedules and playing fields.
The team manager will be notified of the changes.
All changes will be communicated in turn on the Internet and SMS.
11-a-side soccer matches will be played with an OFFICIAL ball, size 5.
Soccer 7 and 8-a-side matches will be played with an OFFICIAL ball, size 4.
Each team must bring balls for the warm-up exercises.
All PLAYERS are insured during the matches.
The teams participating in the CANADA LAVAL CUP, accept the rules that this organization has for the same and to which all have access on the website and app of the tournament.
